To build bridges between especially ethnically marginalized communities in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina and engage citizens, it is crucial to provide platforms where citizens can gain knowledge, share perspectives, and develop a mutual understanding. The project aims to holistically enhance ethnically marginalized Youth participation across diverse facets of society, encompassing socio-political, cultural, educational, and economic domains.

About Project

Recognizing Kosovo's and BiH’s rich tapestry of cultures and histories, the project prioritizes intercultural learning and reconciliation, seeking to weave a fabric of mutual respect and understanding. Furthermore, the initiative aspires to set up robust platforms for dialogue, enabling ethnically marginalized youth to voice their concerns, identify shared challenges, and contribute actively to decision-making processes.

The project " Ethnically Marginalized Youth Empowerment in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina " aims to amplify and harness the dynamic potential of ethnically marginalized youth, ensuring their pivotal role in shaping the region's future. Recognizing young people’s diversity and challenges, especially among the marginalized, the initiative seeks to foster an inclusive environment where every voice is valued and heard.

The project aim to bolster ethnically marginalized youth participation across socio-political, cultural, educational, and economic domains as well as diverse ethnic communities through a multifaceted approach. By bridging divides, promoting intercultural dialogue, and championing innovative solutions, the project aspires to position youth as catalysts of positive change, driving democratic development, social cohesion, and regional prosperity.

Main objectives of the project include:

To enhance youth participation and representation across various facets of society, including socio-political, cultural, educational, and economic spheres;

To set up robust and sustainable platforms where youth can voice their concerns, identify shared challenges, and actively contribute to decision-making;

To champion and support youth-led initiatives that have a lasting impact, transcending the lifespan of individual projects.

 

Project is financed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and is implemented by Kosovar Center for Security Studied, Centre for Security Studies BiH and Kosovo Institute for Research and Analysis.
