Call for participants - Youth Digital Storytelling Workshop 

The call for application is being launched as part of the project “Ethnically Marginalized Youth Empowerment in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, within ReLOaD2 – funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).  The project aims to holistically enhance ethnically marginalized Youth participation across diverse areas of society, including socio-political, cultural, educational, and economic aspects.  

Therefore, to build bridges between young ethnically marginalized communities in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina and engage citizens, it is crucial to provide platforms where citizens can gain knowledge, share perspectives, and develop a mutual understanding.  

Who can apply? 

Are you a young person from Kosovo or Bosnia & Herzegovina? Do you want to share your story and contribute to understanding and peace in your community? Join us for the "Youth Digital Storytelling Workshop" on 26 and 27 November 2024. 

This unique workshop empowers ethnically marginalized youth by providing a platform to express their diverse identities and experiences through digital storytelling. Over two days, you will learn to craft compelling stories using digital tools, discuss ethical storytelling and explore ways to use your new skills for advocacy and community engagement. 

We are looking for:  

Young individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds who are passionate about storytelling and social change (ages 15-25), and 

Participants who apart from their local language can also speak fluent English and are eager to learn and apply digital storytelling skills to advocate for their communities. 

Workshop Benefits 

Gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling techniques. 

Develop skills in video editing, audio recording, and scriptwriting. 

Opportunity to network with other young leaders and activists. 

All workshop materials will be provided, and there is no cost to participate. 

The form must be submitted by November 15, 2024.
