The KCSS Director, Florian Qehaja participated in a meeting organized by EPLO over the Spanish contribution and role in the foreign and security affairs of EU

The KCSS Director, Florian Qehaja participated in a meeting organized by EPLO over the Spanish contribution and role in the foreign and security affairs of EU. This meetings aimed at facilitating dialogue between the EU institutions and Spanish civil society on the practice of peacebuilding and conflict prevention and it aims to advance the development of a more coherent and more effective EU action in these areas. It has been held in the premises of EU Delegation in Spain. The KCSS Director provided the inside on the role of EULEX and the complexities of Kosovo in its path to EU by emphasizing the role of five non-recognizing countries of EU.

The meeting brought together approximately 30 participants including high-level experts from Spanish civil society and research institutes on European affairs, representatives from European Institutions, including European Commission, the European Parliament, the European External Action Service, and members of the EU military staff as well as the Spanish Armed Forces with experience in CSDP missions.
