Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) launched the book entitled: “Monitoring and Evaluating the Good Governance in the Kosovo Security Sector”.
This book is based on the findings and the extensive research conducted in the period of three years (2009-2011) under the auspices of the regional project “Civil Society Capacity Building to Map and Monitor Security Sector Reform in the Western Balkans”. The KCSS, as one of the seven regional partners, contributed in the consolidation of methodology and evaluated seven good governance criteria in the security sector: rule of law, executive control, financial governance, general transparency, representativeness, parliamentary oversight and judicial control. The book contains 128 pages and it is divided into eight chapters. The event was attended by the representatives of the Kosovo institutions, civil society, representatives form international presence and media.
