The policy brief entitled "The Development Context of the Strategic Security Sector Review – civil society perspective" is drafted within a joint activity of KCSS and GIZ and aims to bring the process of Strategic Security Sector Review (SSSR) closer to civil society.

The process of SSSR has started in the outset of 2012 aiming to analyze the current security sector in Kosovo, and potentially to propose a new architecture of security sector in Kosovo, parallel to change of environment and circumstances in Kosovo.
