KCSS researcher Donika Emini is has been invited to hold a lecture on European Integration Process, in the framework of first European Youth Academy EYSA 2016. The EYSA is a unique training and interdisciplinary knowledge sharing event designed to introduce a group of young enthusiasts with the basic information on European Union. This four days training program will be focused in five areas: European history, Institutions and policies, European Identity, Culture and Democracy as well as challenges of Western Balkan towards EU.
Donika’s presentation will be focused on the EU enlargement process, starting with the rounds of EU enlargement, the key membership criteria and conditionality. Moreover, her presentation will be focused on the stages/ levels of EU integration with special focus on the Western Balkans and additional conditions for membership, set out in the so-called 'Stabilization and Association Process’, mostly relating to regional cooperation and good neighborly relations.
This academy is being organized by the European Centre for studies and Research and Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kosovo.
