Breaking Barriers: Increasing Women’s Participation and Role in the Military

The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies participated in a one-day workshop organized by the Regional Centre of Excellence on Women, Peace, and Security in Kosovo, which focused on advancing women's participation in military structures and the defense sector.

During the workshop, Adelina Hasani, Senior Researcher at KCSS, was on the panel titled "Breaking Barriers: Increasing Women’s Participation and Role in the Military." She presented the key findings of KCSS research, which analyzes the integration of gender perspectives within the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and provides recommendations for increasing gender representation and integration within the KSF. Additionally, KCSS actively participated in the workshop’s working groups, including:
