KCSS Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipality of Ferizaj within the Framework of the Project “A Generation at Risk”

The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) held an official meeting today with the Director of the Municipal Directorate of Education in Ferizaj, Mr. Afrim Llabjani, and Mr. Bashkim Bytyci, during which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Municipality of Ferizaj.

This agreement marks an important step in strengthening institutional cooperation within the framework of the project “A Generation at Risk: Addressing Youth Violence and Strengthening School Safety through Research and Informed Reform,” implemented by KCSS in partnership with the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM), Albania.

The cooperation aims to facilitate field research, improve coordination with local education institutions, and support evidence-based policy recommendations focused on preventing youth violence and enhancing safety in school environments.

Through this partnership, KCSS and local institutions will work jointly toward creating informed responses to youth-related security challenges and strengthening preventive mechanisms in schools.

The project is funded by Open Society Foundations Western Balkans.
