LAUNCHING OF THE REPORT: TRENDS OF CITIZENS’ PERCEPTIONS ON PUBLIC SAFETY IN KOSOVO (2016-2018)

PUBLIKIMI I RAPORTIT: TRENDET E PËRCEPTIMEVE TË QYTETARËVE PËR SIGURINË PUBLIKE NË KOSOVË (2016-2018)

Kosovar Centrr for Security Studies (KCSS) has published today, on 25th of July 2019, the Special Edition of Kosovo Security Barometer: Trends of Citizens’ Perceptions on Public Safety in Kosovo (2016-2018). The key findings of this edition were presented by KCSS Researcher, Donika Marku.

This special edition of Barometer has analyzed the main public security threats in Kosovo. The first part of this report covers the citizens’ perceptions regarding homicides, robberies, usury, domestic violence, sexual harassment, school violence, traffic accidents and stray dogs. The second part of the publication, Security Perimeter, has measured how safe the respondents feel at their home, neighborhood, village / city and Kosovo (national level).

In launching this publication were present participants from Kosovo Police, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Embassies, Pristina Municipality, Kosovo Police Inspectorate, ICITAP, OSCE and the media.
