KCSS Executive Director, Dr Florian Qehaja delivered a presentation on “Countering Radicalization in Kosovo” at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, New York. The aim of roundtable was to discuss the conditions in Kosovo, and development of the portfolio of activities that can be implemented through partnerships between Kosovo and international organizations. A report on outcomes from the meeting will be submitted to the Government of Kosovo, Kosovar civil society, and the donor community.
This event brought together security experts dealing with violent extremism, academia and representatives from state department and was co-sponsored by the Program on Peace-building and Rights at Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights and the Harriman Institute.
