The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) in cooperation with the Municipality of Hani Elezit, on April 30 2019, held a meeting with the local actors of the municipality of Hani Elezit, about discussing community involvement in preventing violent extremism and creating resilient communities when facing this phenomen.
Part of this meeting were: The Mayor of the Municipality, municipal directors, the representatives of the Islamic community of Kosovo, representatives of the youth organizations as well as citizens who work for the community.
This activity was organized as part of the research Project ‘Opportunities for Preventing Violent Extremism through Intra-regional and Cross-regional Exchange’ managed by the Berghof Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
