Kosovar Centre for Security Studies is an independent policy research centre founded in April 2008 and based in Prishtina - Kosovo. KCSS is dedicated to security sector development and reform in Kosovo and Western Balkans. It proactively promotes the principle of good governance, integrity and resilience.
As a Young Researcher, you will play a vital role in advancing our organization's research initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced researchers, community leaders, and experts in the security sector to contribute to evidence-based decision-making and support our projects' effectiveness.
Assist in designing and conducting research studies, surveys, and data collection activities.
Analyze and interpret research data to extract actionable insights and recommendations.
Contribute to the development of research reports, policy briefs, and other products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into project strategies.
Stay updated on relevant research trends, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in [relevant field, e.g., Social Sciences, International Relations, Security Studies, etc].
Excellent research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
At least two years of professional experience.
Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office 365.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Albanian. Serbian knowledge will be considered advantage.
Previous experience in research or data collection.
