Within the Women, Peace and Security project, an informal meeting was held between the women of the community and the municipal institutions in the Municipality of Malisheve, in cooperation with the Office for Gender Equality of this Municipality. The main goal was to inform women about the work of the Local Coordinating Mechanism against Domestic Violence and the commitment of the Municipality to gender equality and the fight against gender-based violence.

The participation of representatives of the Municipality of Malisheva, the Police, the Center for Social Work, the Agency for Free Legal Aid and civil society served to discuss ways of coordinating and exchanging information in the fight against gender-based violence. The lack of staff and social workers and psychologists in the Center for Social Work was highlighted, thus identifying one of the main challenges in providing services to all social categories. Also, it was discussed about the problems of the municipal budget for these issues, the lack of rehabilitation centers and the municipal shelter, stressing that these are important issues to be addressed in the future.
