KCSS has organized the next meeting with women, representatives of security institutions and municipal institutions to discuss domestic violence and challenges in dealing with this problem. The last meeting was held on the 18th of October 2202 in the Municipality of Klinë.
The Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, representatives from the Kosovo Police, representatives from the Center for Social work, representatives from the Employment Center, Gender Equality Officer from the Municipality, NGO Zana and its activists were present in the meeting.
During the discussion, the importance of including women in decision-making positions was emphasized, in order to contribute more to the improvement of women's security situation. Also, the reasons for not reporting cases of violence were discussed and the problem of housing survivors remains a key factor in the reluctance to report this phenomenon. According to the participants of the meeting, the main causes of domestic violence remain the patriarchal mentality and the difficult economic situation
