MEETING WITH STUDENTS OF “ODHISE PASKALI” SCHOOL IN PEJA FOR THE IMPORTANCE OF PREVENTING VIOLENT EXTREMISM

KCCS is continuing lectures in high schools of Kosovo as part of the project "United against terrorism", which aims to involve the community in the prevention of violent extremism.

The CVE team of KCSS today was in the school of arts “OdhisePaskali”, in Peja with the lecturer Fatmir Haxholli - Political Scientist.

In the lecture with the students of "Odhise paskali" among others topics such as religious tolerance, ethnic tolerance and the importance of education, were discussed. A special emphasis was put in presenting risks and threats from violent extremism and radicalization. The students were informed on the consequences that appear as a result of violent extremism and radicalization and best practices in preventing this phenomena were discussed. In this debate, attended about 60 students of "OdhisePaskali" in Peja. This activity is implemented with the support of the US State Department, and implemented in close coordination with the US Embassy in Pristina.
