Executive Director of KCSS, Dr. Florian Qehaja is participating in the annual conference „Security Challenges for Europe“, organized by RACVIAC - Centre for Security Cooperation in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Office in Zagreb, Croatia.

The aim of the Conference is to consider from a geopolitical point of view the present and future security challenges and threats primarily for the countries of South East Europe as well as the potential to prevent them, bearing in mind the existing NATO security assessments and EU’s foreign and security policy.

Dr. Florian Qehaja was a speaker at the second panel “Terrorism Challenge: Origins and Impacts” where he spoke of violent extremism as a security challenge and shared Kosovo's experience while highlighting the need for regional cooperation in preventing and tackling this challenge.
