27/11/2017

Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS), on 27 November 2017 has organized debates with high school students in the Municipality of Prishtina within the program for the prevention of extremist violence.

The aim of this activity is to inform young people about the phenomenon of violent extremism and highlight their role in preventing this phenomenon. The students were informed about the methods of debate by professional lecturers, methods that were subsequently applied in dealing with different topics from the students themselves.

This activity brought together about 70 high school students of "Hoxha Kadri Prishtina" and the secondary school of agribusiness and technology "Abdyl Frashëri", who presented their challenges in school and society and offered their recommendations on how to approach the problem in a genuine way and what role they can have in our common purpose.

KCSS through such activities aims to engage young people in platforms for critical thinking and development on the various phenomena that they may encounter in the tire community.
