KCSS CONCLUDED THE FIRST WORKSHOP ON INTELLIGENCE LED POLICING

QKSS PËRMBYLLI PUNËTORINË E PARË MBI POLICIMIN E UDHËHEQUR NGA INTELIGJENCA

The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) has successfully concluded on Sunday the first workshop of the European Integration School – Module on Security and Rule of Law financially supported by the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS).

During the three-day workshop, panelists and participants discussed and exchanged information and experiences with focus on: relations between Kosovo and the European Union (EU); governance and the security and justice sector reforms including Police accountability; Intelligence Led Policing, including Kosovo case.

European Integration School - The module on Security and Rule of Law is an annual event of KCSS, in the course of activities for promoting and capacity building of Kosovo institutions.

About 30 representatives of public institutions, namely those of security, justice, civil society, political parties and media, where part of the workshop on Intelligence Led Policing.

International intelligence, police integrity and reforms experts where speakers during the first workshop which also included independent analysts and representatives of the Kosovo institutions as panelists.

The second workshop within the module of Security and Rule of Law of EIS, for this year will deal with preventing and combating of violent extremism.
