Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) in cooperation with the SETA Security Studies and DS Centre for Policy Studies, on 1st of February 2016, in Istanbul has organized the conference entitled: "The new dynamics of radicalization: From the Balkans to the Middle East".
KCSS Director, Florian Qehaja and Researcher, Skender Perteshi have contributed to the panel by sharing practices of KCSS in preventing violent extremism. The main aim of the conference was to identify the causes of violent extremism across the globe. KCSS team have shared with the audience the methodology used in collecting data for the report inquiring into causes and consequences of Kosovo citizens as foreign fighters in Syria and Iraq. KCSS activities have taken a lot of attention among analysts, think tanks, academics and independent researchers.
