On Monday, 25th August 2025, the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Center for Security Studies (CSS) Skopje. This significant agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative effort to enhance cooperation in the field of security studies.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Mentor Vrajolli, Executive Director of KCSS, and Dr. Ardijan Ismaili, President of CSS Skopje. The signing ceremony took place in Prishtina, symbolizing the mutual commitment of both organizations to work together towards common goals.
The primary objective of this MoU is to establish and develop cooperation through coordination, planning, and implementation of activities in the field of education, science, and practical research in the security sector. The cooperation will be achieved through various forms and processes, including organizing joint trainings, workshops, conferences, round tables, and exchange of experiences. Additionally, both organizations will conduct joint research and apply appropriate scientific methodologies in the field of security, criminology, and forensics.
This MoU reflects the mutual will and determination of KCSS and CSS Skopje to enhance their collaborative efforts in the security sector. Both organizations are committed to promoting the rule of law, strengthening parliamentary oversight, and utilizing their expertise to support each other in their respective missions.
