KCSS in collaboration with the Municipality of Mamushe convened a specialized meeting addressing Gender, Peace and Security

KCSS, in collaboration with the Municipality of Mamushe, convened a specialized meeting addressing #GenderPeaceSecurity. The outcomes of this session underscored imperative needs within the community, including the necessity for the inclusion of psychologists and gynecologists in local hospitals. Additionally, identified priorities encompassed the imperative requirement for targeted training programs addressing gender-based violence for both children and women. Of notable concern was the pressing issue of early marriages among young women

The meeting brought together various stakeholders, including representatives from the municipality, women from the community, and local police. This diverse group of participants facilitated a comprehensive discussion on the topic at hand.
