KCSS is marking its 15th anniversary as the leading think tank in the security sector in Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
The establishment of KCSS in 2008 has coincided with the consolidation of Kosovo’s statehood and its state institutions at the local and central levels. Therefore, the establishment of KCSS in 2008 was an imperative to fill the gap and enrich Kosovo’s civil society landscape intended to conduct supervisory roles towards development of the security sector and rule of law institutions in the country.
In the framework of its anniversary, KCSS will organize a regional event on the most contemporary trends to regional security dynamics in the Western Balkans within the context of the EU integration of Western Balkan countries as the ultimate goal towards long-term peace and security in the region. This full-day conference will gather distinguished experts, panelists and speakers representing state institutions, international organizations, civil society organizations, think tanks, academia, and media.
