KCSS Launches Report on the Rise of Anti-Gender Narratives in Kosovo

The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) has launched a new report “RISE OF ANTI-GENDER NARRATIVES IN KOSOVO: Far-Right Ideologies, Digital Violence and Threats to Human Rights”, as part of a conference held today in Pristina.

The report addresses the rise of anti-gender narratives in Kosovo and their implications for democracy, gender equality and social cohesion. The research tackles how anti-gender discourse has spread across political, media and digital divides, giving extremist ideology and the format of violence targeting women, activists and marginalized groups.

The main findings of the report by Jeta Loshaj, a researcher at KCSS, which presents the main trends and developments in this field.

Following the statements of an open and active discussion, which focused on the impact of anti-gender in public discourse, severe violence and the need for more privileged policies and mechanisms for the protection of human rights and democratic resilience rights in Kosovo.

This activity was organized within the framework of “Preventing and Increasing Resilience to Anti-Gender Ideologies and People”.
