KCSS Senior Researcher and Secretary, Mentor Vrajolli during 23-25 January attended the regional conference "Citizenship and Human Security" organized in Istanbul, Turkey from Helsinki Committee in Turkey.
This conference was attended by about 50 representatives from the Western Balkans region and dozens of other representatives from Turkey. In this conference which was held in the premises of Bilgi University was discussed various topics such as economic security, the state as a provider of (in) security, illegal weapons, transitional justice, humanitarian crisis with Syrian refugees, problems of religious radicalization problem Kurdish in Turkey, etc.
The conference was paved the also topics that related to school safety, transitional justice and illegal circulation of weapons in Kosovo. Also was discussed the methodology of measuring human security trends applied by different research organizations present at the conference, whether as panelist and even as participants.
