FIGHTING POLICE CORRUPTION: LEGAL SOLUTIONS AND BEST PRACTICES

LUFTIMI I KORRUPSIONIT NË POLICI: ZGJIDHJET LIGJORE DHE PRAKTIKAT MË TË MIRA

In the framework of POINTPULSE Network activities on police integrity, civil society organizations of the six Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) have been gathered in Podgorica on a regional conference titled “Fighting Police Corruption: Legal Solutions and Best Practices” on 1 July 2017.

Researcher of Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS), Plator Avdiu, presented the work of KCSS on police integrity. Additionally, he discussed on the assessment of legal framework on police integrity in Kosovo as well as practical aspects of the relevant Kosovo institutions to fighting police corruption in Kosovo.

In the meantime, the POINTPULSE Network conducted a two-day sustainability workshop in Podgorica (30-31 May 2017) on the future activities of the project to the oversight of police integrity in the Western Balkans.
