MAKING SENSE OF VIOLENT EXTREMISM: TRAINING AND TOOLKIT FOR RESEARCH IN THE WESTERN BALKANS

The RESOLVE Network, United States Institute of Peace and Kosovar Centre for Security Studies are hosting the three and a half day training: "Making Sense of Violent Extremism: Training and Toolkit for Research in the Western Balkans" in Prishtina, Kosovo.

The training seeks to provide individuals, institutions, and organizations from Western Balkans with resources and guidance on conceptualizing, designing, and undertaking research focused on violent extremism and terrorist dynamics.

The toolkit and training will provide insights and guidance on crafting research recommendations for policy and practitioner audiences.

The three-and-a-half-day training will guide individuals and organizations through interactive modules—with activities including resource exchanges, expert reflections and facilitated discussion, and interactive exercises—and train participants on using the toolkit in their own work or training other researchers and organizations.
