As part of the Western Balkans Security Barometer (WBSB) program, the WBSB Essay Contest is being held. The first activity of this competition was organized today, which was a training for young researchers about research methodology and writing essays.
Together with Dr. Ramadan Ilazi, head of research at QKSS, participants were briefed on how to draft essays that clearly communicate ideas and arguments while adhering to the competition guidelines. Throughout the program, young researchers will write essays using data obtained through the Western Balkans Security Barometer, available on the securitybarometer.qkss.org platform. The three essays that are rated as the best by the evaluation team will be awarded with a scholarship and will be published by KCSS.
This activity is organized within the "Western Balkans Security Barometer" project. The WBSB serves as an instrument to measure the perceptions of the citizens of Albania, Kosovo and Serbia on various issues related to security, rule of law, justice, regional cooperation and peace building. This regional project is led by KCSS with the financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
