The Political Sciences Department of the University of Prishtina in conjunction with the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies is organising a panel discussions titled "Regional Security Complex: Serbia's perspective." The panel will take place on the 7th of March 2014, starting at 11:00. The panel aims to raise some of the regional security issues in light of the increasing societal and political efforts to maintain peace and security in the region. It is designed to offer the students the alternative view on the way how the regional security dynamics are seen in Serbia. The topics the panelists will cover are:

- Security dynamics in the region

- Serbia's foreign and security goals

- Serbia's military neutrality

Mrs. Maja Bjelos, Research of Belgrade Centre for Security Policy

Mr. Bojan Elek, Research of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy

The panel will be moderated by Florian Qehaja, Executive Director of the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS).

This panel is conducted under the auspices of the exchange programme "Professional Work Exchange for Enhanced Policy Dialogue Program", which brings together a series of cross-border policy work exchanges of mid-career professionals from a targeted group of think tanks, CSOs, and universities in Kosovo and in Serbia with the aim of enhancing the human resources and knowledge products of host organizations and facilitating the production of multi-perspective policy work in various fields. The overall project is supported by The Balkan Trust for Democracy (BTD) and the main donor is Foreign and Commonwealth Office.  Maja Bjelos and Bojan Elek are currently exchanged researcher at KCSS.
