FORUMI ANTIKORRUPSION NË BALLKANIN PERËNDIMOR

KCSS researcher Donika Emini attended at a four day meeting of the Western Balkans Anti-corruption Forum organized by the European Academy for Diplomacy and the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and held in in Belgrade.

The Western Balkans Anti-corruption Forum as a project will focus on sharing the V4 countries’ experiences in combating corruption among the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia). Program objectives include identifying the gaps in combating corruption in the Western Balkans, sharing the V4 experiences in the field, and equipping chosen participants with skills and knowledge necessary to improve anticorruption measures in their countries.

The project is divided in three workshops. The first part included the workshop in Belgrade with the aim to discuss on improving anticorruption measures and raising social awareness. The second workshop will take place in Warsaw of Poland where the participants that are involved in managing anticorruption bodies will visit Polish institutions that where successful in combating corruption after the transition in Poland. The third, and last part of the project will be focused in organizing six open meetings in six Balkan cities. The meetings will be held from 21 September to 31 December 2016.
