The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) is continuing to promote the findings of the Kosovo Security Barometer (KSB). On December 19, KCSS held a closed- door discussion with policymakers and officials of institutions that have been part of this edition of KSB.
The event started with a brief presentation of key findings of this edition of KSB by Ms. Donika Marku, Researcher at KCSS. Then, a discussion followed with the officials of the security and justice institutions.
Participants reflected on the reasons that may have led to trust/distrust towards these institutions while calling for more transparency from these institutions and continuing to demand people to push for more accountability from these institutions. The data and recommendations from this roundtable will be used by KCSS for the development of qualitative research regarding these institutions as well as for advocacy towards these institutions.
This activity is organized in the framework of the Kosovo Security Barometer Programe, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
