KCSS Project Coordinator, Tringa Naka is attending the two-day training seminar on Advocacy towards the EU on Funding for Peacebuilding, in Brussels, Belgium.
The training seminar aims to enable participants to increase their understanding of the EU’s external funding programmes and the EU institutions and processes involved in their delivery; and (2) To develop potential advocacy strategies on EU funding for peacebuilding.
The seminar is conducted in the framework of the Civil Society Dialogue Network (CSDN), a mechanism for dialogue between civil society and EU policy-makers on issues related to peace and conflict. It is co-financed by the European Union (Instrument for Stability). It is managed by the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO), a civil society network, in co-operation with the European Commission (EC) and the European External Action Service (EEAS).
