Senior Research Fellow
Danilo Kalezić is a doctoral candidate in Political Science at Northern Illinois University and a Senior Research Fellow at the History Institute of Montenegro.
His research explores the role of Russia and China as external actors in the Western Balkans, with a particular focus on authoritarian diffusion, foreign malign influence, and democratic resilience.
In addition to his academic work, he is a prominent columnist and public commentator, regularly contributing analysis on democracy, foreign interference, geopolitics, and European integration in the Western Balkans.
