POLICE PROFESSION IN KOSOVO

The KCSS Executive Director, Florian Qehaja presented the findings of empirical research "Police Profession in Kosovo: Between Novelty and Regional Engagement." The findings were presented at the Department of Political Studies of the University of Prishtina. Up to 100 students attended the presentation while the findings triggered interest among students. The presentation was focused on three main findings: structure of police members, politics-police dichotomy and unique regional cooperation. Presentation briefly touched upon the theories applied for these studies as well as methodology. Students predominantly were interested on the methods used in conducting this research as well as methodology applied by KCSS in general.

About Project

The research "Police Profession in Kosovo: Between Novelty and Regional Engagement" is part of the regional academic project "From Conflict Zone to Security Communities" which is made of a partners from the region. The project is supported by The Research Council of Norway.
