On behalf of the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and Friderich Ebert Stiftung (FES) we kindly invite you to our joint regional conference 'Progress in the Europeanization of the Security Sector in Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia'.
This event will serve as a platform to gather regional independent experts and researchers in Prishtina to discuss the aspects related to the "Europeanization" of one of the most complexs sectors - the security sector. The focus of the project is in three countries gravitating in the southern part of the Western Balkans: Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia. The conference will launch a joint publication prepared by the three independent think-tanks: Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) from Kosovo, Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) from Albania, and Analytica from Macedonia. KCSS was a lead project organisation while IDM and Analytica where project partners.
The conference aims to bring a number of politicians, researchers, practitioners, academics, and civil society representatives in order to discuss the issues related to the process of Europeanization in the format of comparison of three regional countries: Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia.
All presentations will be held in Albanian/English, and vice-versa translation will be provided.
