Kosovar Center for Security Studies (KCSS) today launched the results of the Kosovo Security Barometer households’ survey.

About Project

The goal of the Kosovo Security Barometer project is to provide reliable and accurate data that can meaningfully inform public and policy debates. The presentation provided a summary of people’s perceptions about security in Kosovo, the performance of security institutions (Police, EULEX, KFOR, KSF, KIA, Customs) the performance of judicial institutions, the nature of external and internal threats, inter-ethnic relations, Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue, economic and environmental security.

The Barometer was carried out during April 2013 through face-to-face interviews conducted around Kosovo, and using a questionnaire developed by KCSS. A national sample was drawn that is representative of the Kosovo population that is 18 years and above and includes 1067 households of all ethnicities.
