KCSS Researcher Teuta Avdimetaj is currently completing a two-week fellowship at the International Centre for Counter Terrorism -The Hague, which is part of the Clingendael Institute in the Netherlands. The Clingendael Institute is one of the leading think tanks in Europe conducting policy-oriented analysis and research on strategic international issues as well as one of the largest international diplomatic training centres in the world.
During her fellowship, Teuta together with Julie Coleman, Senior Programme Manager at ICCT- The Hague, will be conducting research on state responses to conflict-zone returnees from Syria and Iraq with focus on the case of Kosovo and the Netherlands.
This fellowship program is supported by of the Open Society Foundations for Europe (OSIFE) and has been organized in the framework of the KCSS project which focuses on twinning, networking, and capacity building between KCSS and think tanks based in EU member states.
