On February 3 and 6, the KCSS staff held a training on the methodology and approach to the topic of gender sensitivity in security institutions.
During the training, the participants got to increase their capacities on the topic of Gender and Security Institutions. The trainer, Dr Sonja Stojanovic Gajic, shared her first-hand experience with Gender Auditing in Security Institutions, and discovered the challenges and the potential to work in this regard.
This seminar serves as an introduction to the new research that KCSS has planned on the obstacles and opportunities faced by women working in security organizations. This research will be carried out over the course of the upcoming months.
