SIGURIA NDËRKOMBËTARE: BALANCIMI I SHQETËSIMEVE DHE MENAXHIMI I PRITJEVE

Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) has contributed in a panel discussion on International security –fostering innovation through collaboration, this panel discussion was held in the framework of the conference entitled “Networking the Networks” organized by OSCE Mission in Kosovo.

KCSS researcher, Donika Emini was part of the panel alongside representatives from the Kosovo Police, Swedish Police Authority, and other representatives from regional initiatives.

Dejan Janković, Deputy General Director of Kosovo Police

 

KCSS researcher, Donka Emini focused her presentation on the importance of regional cooperation in the security sector in the context of the Western Balkans. Her presentation tackled issues such as the importance of shifting the cooperation into a neccesary norm deriving from the region itself.  Also the challenges that Kosovo continues to face in joining the regional security initiatives by pointing out that the last puzzle of cooperation will be not completed until Kosovo’s inclusion in the overall regional security framework and international security organizations.
