KCSS at EUNPACK, HORIZONI2020

QKSS PJESËMARRËSE NË PUNËTORINË E PARË TË PROJEKTIT EUNPACK, HORIZON2020

KCSS Secretary, Mentor Vrajolli and KCSS Senior Research Associate, Shpend Kursani are attending the first three-day workshop organized on behalf of the project: “Good intentions, mixed results – A conflict-sensitivity unpacking of the EU comprehensive approach to conflict and crises mechanisms (EUNPACK)". The aim of this workshop is to inform partners for the upcoming events and reporting to the donor (European Commission) for the next three years, April 1st 2016 to March 30 2019. This workshop is organized from Norwegian Institute of International Affairs [NUPI] who is also the project coordinator, while, host and partner of the workshop is Centre for European Policy Studies [CEPS], Belgium.

Along with representatives from KCSS, NUPI and CEPS, this workshop is being attended from experts and  representatives from partner organizations such as:  School of Social Science, University of Manchester [UMan], UK, Centre for Transnational Studies, Foreign – and Security Policy, Freie Universität, Berlin [Freie], Germany, Department of Political Science, Faculty of Arts, Comenius University [Comenius], Slovakia, Sant’ Anna School of Advanced Studies [SSSA], Italy, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy [BCSP] – Local partner in the enlargement area, Serbia, Local partner in the enlargement area,  Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Studies, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy [JMCK]  – Local partner in EU’s Eastern neighbourhood, Ukraine, Institut de Recherche sur le Maghreb Contemporain [IRMC] – Local partner in EU’s Southern neighbourhood, Tunisia, Alliance for Rebuilding Governance in Africa [ARGA] – Local partner in EU’s extended neighbourhood, Mali, Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit [AREU] – Local partner in EU’s extended neighbourhood, Afghanistan ,Middle East Research Institute [MERI] – Local partner in EU’s extended neighbourhood, Iraq.

Besides representatives of partner organizations, participants in this meeting are officials from the European Commission. Respectively, presentations will be held by representatives of the European Executive Research Agency (EERA) -   Inclusive, Innovative and Reflective Society which is in the same time financial supporter and supervisor for implementing this project.

This three-day workshop will serve as a guideline for the intense upcoming events which will be developed in behalf of the project.
