On June 26, 2023, KCSS organized the training “Empowering Non-Governmental Organizations to Counter Cyber-Attacks” in Prishtina. The training gathered 16 representatives from various NGOs in Kosovo that work with marginalized groups, including women, children, people with disabilities, members of the LGBTIQ+ community, etc.
The training was delivered by Muhamed Gërxhaliu, an IT specialist with over 20 years of experience in the field of IT and cyber security. The training provided participants with practical know-how on how to draft an organizational security plan, fostering a security culture within the organization, securing electronic devices and data storage, how to stay safe on the internet, physical security and how to respond to cyber incidents.
The training was organized in the framework of the “Greater Internet Freedom” project, implemented by Internews and supported by USAID.
