KCSS CREATE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CIVIL SOCIETY FROM CYPRUS

Kosovar Center for Security Studies (QKSS) on 16 March 2015, hosted a delegation from the Republic of Cyprus. Part of the delegation was representatives of civil society and organizations, university lecturer and Cypriot journalists.

During the welcome speech executive director of KCSS, Florian Qehaja had the opportunity to present projects and activities of KCSS and current state of security sector in Kosovo.

During this meeting, the staff of KCSS had the opportunity to share their experiences with guests from Cyprus, and discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation between KCSS and civil society organizations from Cyprus. During discussions they identified areas in which there is a similarity between the two countries where civil society cooperation could provide the advancement of inter-social relations.

KCSS is the first organization from Kosovo who managed to create partnerships and therefore, initiate cooperation between the civil societies of both countries. Exchange Project is supported by "KS Talk to EU" British Council.
