FIERC project continues to support community initiatives based on public interest

Prishtina, July 25, 2023: In the framework of the FIERC Project (Fostering Interethnic Reconciliation and Cooperation), a community initiative to improve road safety near a school was endorsed by the Community Forum for Public Interest (CFPI) in the municipality of Shtërpcë/Štrpce, and the project has been successfully completed.

The CFPIs have been established in six multiethnic municipalities to facilitate interethnic cooperation around public interest. FIERC Project member Mr. Florent Gashi said that FIERC project has so far supported four community initiatives that resolve concrete challenges of the community and facilitate interethnic cooperation. FIERC project is implemented by the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS), in partnership with the New Social Initiative (NSI), and funded the Stability Pact Fund of the German Federal Foreign Office.
