Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) has organized a focus group aiming to collect data for the upcoming monitoring and assessing report on integrity in the security sector - focusing on the Ministry of Kosovo Security Force and Kosovo Security Force. This focus group brought together high-level representatives from the Ministry of Kosovo Security Force and Kosovo Security Force, former MPs part of the Committee for Internal Affairs and KSF, Anti-corruption Agency, civil society, security experts and media.
The aim of this focus group is to raise discussions on the most important issues related to integrity in the in the Kosovo Security Force, including the following areas: public procurement in the MKSF/KSF, human resources management in MKSF/KSF, internal control, and independence and preventing conflict of interest in MKSF/KSF.
The monitoring report will be published in September 2017 along with specific recommendations on the steps to be taken by the Kosovo relevant institutions in strengthening the integrity in the security sector.
This event has been organized in the framework of the KCSS program on Integrity in the security sector, supported by the Democratic Society Promotion (DSP) - financed by Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo (SCO-K) and managed by Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF).
