The Kosovar Center for Security Studies (KCSS) cordially invites you to participate in the launch of the preliminary results of the Kosovo Security Barometer households’ survey which aims to provide reliable and accurate data that can meaningfully inform public and policy debates.
The presentation will provide a summary of people’s perceptions about security and justice in Kosovo, focusing on the performance of security institutions (Police, KSF, KIA, EULEX, KFOR, Customs), the performance of judicial institutions, as well as the perceptions on the main external and internal threats.
The survey was carried out in the second half of October 2014, through face-to-face interviews conducted around Kosovo, and by using a questionnaire developed by the KCSS. Sampling, piloting and interviews were conducted by the KCSS team involving 30 field researchers and an additional 10 researchers engaged on supervising the field researchers, and monitoring the data processing. A national sample was drawn that is representative of the Kosovo population above 18 years and includes 1101 households of all ethnicities. The presentation will be held in Albanian/English, and a vice-versa translation will be provided.
This project is supported by the US-based Foundation National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
