KCSS DIRECTOR INVITED TO ATTEND OBAMA SUMMIT

The KCSS Executive Director Florian Qehaja has been invited to participate in the Summit organized by the US Department of State on the topic of countering violent extremism. The Summit is a follow up to the Obama Summit organized earlier this year in Washington.

 The Summit will take place in the margins of United Nations (UN) General Assembly and it will gather representatives of the states and non-governmental actors. Qehaja is the only think tank representative invited to attend the Summit due to KCSS extensive contribution in identifying the causes of extremism and its work on prevention in the region.

Qehaja will also have meetings with the relevant stakeholders and also attend the side events in New York City.
