The KCSS executive director, Florian Qehaja attended the two-day conference on “Global Insecurity” organized by the University of Bristol. The aim of this conference was to bring together all academics and experts from the security sector to discuss current global security issues.
Florian Qehaja gave his contribution on the topic: "Liberal Meets Illiberal Peace building" while discussing the conceptual aspect of liberal peacekeeping.
Invited as an expert, Qehaja among others discussed Local ownership and Security Sector Development in Kosovo, he also presented the work of the Kosovar Center for Security Studies (KCSS) in researching and implementing projects in the security sector.
During this two-day conference various topics was discussed such as :” Global Insecurities in Policy", “Development, Security and the Environment", "Gender and Global Insecurities", "The Changing International System: New Challenges for the US and NATO"
