KCSS Researcher Donika Emini attended a three day workshop/conference along with other 25 civil society activists from Germany, France, and other European countries organized by the European Academy of Otzenhausen in Germany.
The main purpose of this event was to discuss the hurdles and opportunities of cross-border political participation and cooperation. Participants worked together intensively - on the basis of their own practical experience - to systematize the existing challenges and identify solutions that ultimately resulted in joint project ideas. By the end of the three day workshop, the challenges, real solutions and projects were presented to public and European decision makers. Workshop participants presented their ideas and concepts in front of the guests in a critical dialogue which enabled them to receive stimulating thoughts and establish useful contacts.
